Going Global Career Panel: Identities at Work
Each year, we coordinate thisevent for our International & Area Studiesâ students in conjunction with the Career and Professional Development Center at the University of Utah, to highlight the global careers, international experiences, and language skills of individuals working in globally focused roles, and how those skills and experiences have benefitted them in the workplace. Because we want to highlight and elevate the voices and experiences of marginalized individuals in the U.S. (e.g. racial and ethnic minorities, LGBTQ+, etc.), we will also ask questions about how their identity has impacted their work.
