Ismaeil Hakimi
I began working at Marriott Library in 2018 as the Senior Library Specialist, and
I have enjoyed helping the faculty, staff, and students in this lovely academic environment
ever since. Since 2020, I have also worked as the Middle East Collection Liaison.
In this role, my duties include curating the Middle East Collection, helping patrons
with collection-related reference needs, and responding to inquiries from my colleagues
pertaining to the collection, particularly those involving the Persian and Arabic
items.
Along with private law, I have studied Islamic law and jurisprudence. Middle Eastern
history and Islamic history and resources are some of my interests.
I worked for several public and private, national and international, academic and educational, and governmental organizations in the Middle East, particularly in law and legal reform projects
